Exploring the nearby falconry was definitely the highlight of the trip! The combination of beautiful architecture and fascinating exhibits in the castle was a fantastic experience. Breakfast was also quite enjoyable with a delightful array of options, which gave us a great start to our days. However, parking was a bit of a trek, and I felt a little confused about some directions due to poor signage.

The Superior Double Room was spacious and clean, with a huge soaking tub that was perfect after a day of hiking. It did get a little noisy at times, especially from the hallway and above, which was kind of a bummer. But the medieval vibe in the room and the overall atmosphere of the castle made it worth it. Huge windows offered great views too!
